We are delighted to offer for sale this unique Rolex Cellini 2274. This watch benefits from a service completed by Rolex in February 2026 the watch remains unworn since.
Truly a breath taking timepiece which was gifted by Qaboos Sultan of Oman to the family who we directly acquired the watch from. It is stamped on the rear case with the Royal Crest of the Sultan of Oman.
This watch was taken to the Rolex service centre based in central London and returned where it underwent a full service to its movement as well as a meticulous refurbishment of the case and bracelet. The work came to a total of £575.
A preowned in pristine condition Rolex Cellini model reference 2274 having had full service completed at Rolex therefore presented in excellent condition.
The “Rainbow” is a spectacle of craftsmanship, scattering multi-coloured beams of light across the sky. Designed circa 1980—likely by Jean-Claude Gueit, the mastermind behind the rainbow setting—this Rolex defies tradition, fusing high jewellery with avant-garde design.
Forged in 18k yellow gold, the watch doesn’t stop at the iconic rainbow-set bezel. A “torsadé” effect bracelet twists around the wrist like a golden helix, while a pave diamond-set dial amplifies its luminous presence. The combination of textures, stones, and shapes makes this timepiece a true anomaly in Rolex’s portfolio—a rare, electrifying statement of audacity and artistry.
Decades ahead of its time, the Rainbow remains a celestial phenomenon—an opulent fusion of technical mastery and fearless creativity, proving that even in Rolex’s world, some stars shine differently than others.
This watch is supplied as shown in the images with the original Rolex box only which also bears the Royal Crest of the Sultan of Oman.
As with all of our manufacture serviced watches additional provenance included is the original Rolex service box, the original Rolex service pouch, the original Rolex service manual, an original Rolex service shell box, the original Rolex digital service card and the original Rolex service invoice (£575).
Warranty
This Rolex Cellini 2274 benefits from the remainder of the Rolex service warranty which expires in February 2028 and two year warranty covered by us valid from the point of purchase.

Its always a bit daunting when dealing by post and with someone you have not previously dealt with. Sil is a good guy, one thing he said which resonates still is that his reputation is worth more to him than the money. I guess if the reputation is right the money comes after. I did a part chop, after 4-5 emails, 2 calls I have received my new watch and am VERY happy.
